Our Department
The Department of Computer Technology was founded in 2023 with the goals of providing high-quality teaching in the subject of Computer Technology and improving students’ abilities to compete for jobs in Business, Government, and Scientific Applications in Research Labs, as well as Higher Education.
- The Department provides three-year B.Sc (CT) program.
- Every subject in the curriculum meticulously aids the students in developing a strong knowledge base and achieving particular learning objectives that will assist them in moving closer to their aims.
- Encouraging the students to develop their leadership, decision-making, and confidence skills, as well as their capacity to think critically and with strong reasoning.
- Prepares the students to be qualified for the highest-paying positions in major MNCs, including Infosys, TCS, CTS, Wipro, IBM, and HCL, among others, which involve web designing, software testing, software development, and many other tasks.
- In addition to placing a strong emphasis on regular and excellent academic performance, the department promotes involvement in co-curricular and extracurricular activities to help students discover their skills.

The name is inspired from the First AI–based Computer Program to defeat a professional human Go player, the first to defeat a Go world champion, and is arguably the strongest Go player in history. The aim of the association is to conducts various programs like workshops, seminars, and conferences are organized for the benefit of students.

Club activities within a department can play a crucial role in enhancing the overall academic and social experience for students. These activities provide opportunities for students to engage with their peers, faculty, and professionals in the field, fostering a sense of community and offering practical experiences beyond the classroom.
Here are some common types of club activities that may take place within a department:
Cyber Crew :
The cyber club aims to increase students’ awareness of computers and their uses in our daily life, with a view to prepare citizens of tomorrow who are better suited to deal with real world technology. A Cyber Club in an academic setting typically focuses on activities related to cybersecurity, information security, and technology. These clubs play a crucial role in enhancing students’ knowledge and skills in cyber security, promoting awareness, and providing a platform for practical experience.
Chels Association:

Web Designing Crew:
A Web Design Crew in an academic setting can provide a platform for students to enhance their web design skills, stay updated on industry trends, and collaborate on creative projects.
