Commerce CA
- The Department of Commerce (CA) offers a three-year Regular B.Com (CA) and Masters Degree of two years.
- The Department was founded in the year 2000 with the course Commerce with Computer Applications. The combination introduced in the course is Statistics for business, Taxation and basic computer applications.
- The Department also assists students of various correspondence courses run by a number of Universities such as Bharathidasan University, Bharathiyar University and so on.
- The Department has 14 staff members. All faculty members have either completed their M.Phil or are in the process of completing it. Both members of the staff and students are actively involved in research and guiding the students for the same.
- The necessary courses in the subject of accounting are, Financial Accounting , Corporate Accounting, Management Accounting, Cost Accounting .
- Financial Management, Banking and Insurance and Financial Markets and Institutions are papers catering to the subject of finance.
- The curriculum caters to the field of management through the papers, Principles of Management, Human Resource Management and Marketing Management.
- The curriculum has two courses in economics namely Managerial Economics and Macro Economics and Indian Economic Environment which provide knowledge in the subject of Economics.
- A paper each in Business Statistics and Mathematics for Managers provide the necessary quantitative skills.
- The course also covers papers in Income Tax, Auditing, and E-Commerce.
- Students will intern for a period of 6 weeks after the completion of the fourth semester during the summer break.

CAMELLIA
Our Association, named CAMELLIA, is a forum where students are encouraged to exhibit their talents in co-curricular activities like Paper presentation, Group Discussion, Quiz, Add Zap, etc., at regular intervals. Through these activities, the students get confidence to face the expert panel while attending an interview. Eminent personalities in their field of specialisation are invited to deliver guest lectures regularly for the benefit of students.
