About the Department The Department offers a U.G.Course and sparkles under the headship of Ms.T.Parimalam with 11 faculty members of fidelity. It was started in the year 2000. It contains well-equipped laboratories with the latest configuration systems. Eligibility A pass in HSC / +2 ( any group )
Lab Facilities Well equipped ultra modern laboratories having latest configurated computers are offered in our College. The laboratory is kept open for the students till 6.00 pm. The computer laboratory is equipped with imported Intel 2 GB RAM work station with land server, Net server. Internet connection through very high speed 4 MB radio frequency is operating round the clock, within the college premises to help the students and staff to acquire extensive knowledge.

Department Activities · A workshop on Software Testing was conducted by Prakat Solutions, Bangalore on 4th to 7th Jan 2011 in our college. Our staff members Ms.T.Parimalam, Ms.R.Gokulradha and Ms.S.Soundaram attended the workshop. · Mr.Dharmalingam, our faculty, attended a seminar on Genetic Algorithm A Practical Implementation & Approach using MAT Lab 7.0, conducted by DJ Academy for Managerial Excellence, Coimbatore on 7th Jan 2011. · Our Final year students Mr.M.Velliangiri & Mr.A.Yogaraj participated in the Finishing School Training Programme 2011, held at Ratinam College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore from 21 to 23 Jan 2011. · IGORIONZ 2011, a State Level Technical Symposium was held on 28th and 29th of Jan 2011. · Mr.D.Surendran and Mr.S.Jagadesan participated in a National Level Seminar on Emerging Trends in IT, conducted by Navarasam Arts & Science College for Women on 5th Feb 2011. · Our students, S.Rishwana Banu, D.Shanmugapriya, S.Manimegala, Vijayalakshmi and S.Subathra of II B.Sc. (C.S.) participated in a National Level Seminar on Emerging Trends in IT, conducted by Navarasam Arts & Science College for Women on 5th Feb 2011. · Mr.Dharmalingam attended a Staff Development Programme on E-Learn Contents in Bharathiar University, Coimbatoreon 7th Feb 2011.
