M.Sc Physics

     The Physics Department is one of the PG departments of the college existing right from 2005.  The Department has grown leaps and bounds from then on and at present the department has well qualified human resource and well equipped laboratories. Promotion of Physical sciences through effective teaching has been the primary objective of the department and it has the credit of producing many women physicists and educationalists. The department is actively engaged in research and has received grants from governmental organizations such as UGC, DST and established industrial collaborations in the recent past. Department has frequently engaged itself in conducting several Seminars for the benefit of students & teachers.  The department is also giving counseling to motivate their students and overcome the difficulties faced by them during their course of studies.

            The Vision of the Department is to transform the youth to become competent and motivated professionals to nurture Scientific temper and Creativity.

            To provide quality training and education to the learners so as to excel in the areas of Pure and Applied Physics.
